glad that ting ting’s all healthy… i AM inefficient, are you discovering that only now? but fear not, the pics are coming real real soon! promise… and omg liyana!!!!!! Mr. J Junior and you?!??!?!? ahhhh i’m soooo happy for u woman!!! ah another marooner hitched to a guy (sam being the one to start off the craze)… could this be a maroon 5 golden year? (although i feel a bit unpolished and dull to be golden)… hehehe.. eeyer liyana i didn’t noe u had progressed to such stages =D awww… he better make u happy or i’ll punch him in the face.. oh XXXXiin i finally found a picture of the elusive C… u can guess what that initial stands for…. hehehehehehe… and AZZA, i accept u’re challenge on guessing the movie.. in fact its not really a challenge cuz based on the fact that our new imaginary-shared-boyfriend is the Joker (yes only we seem to find insane ppl hot)…. its from batman rite?? wah how we’ve progressed from the days of Joe Hahn…

so i met all my housemates… TWO girls from Taiwan… no surprise there, u guys noe how i’m cursed… and a girl from nigeria called agbi omotola… she’s gna be here for a year and a half… a masters student… and we get along and she’s bugging me to cook for her and go for hip hop lessons… A BLACK WOMAN WHO THINKS SHE NEEDS DANCE LESSONS… oh yeah, xxxxiiiin the dance scene here is pretty damn funny i wanna tell you all abt it… there’s 2 taiwanese guys in the boys house.. again, u see my curse? and 1 more taiwanese guy but he’s been living in germany all this time and speaks fluent german and looks like a cool indonesian rocker… really… and there’s a guy called osmand from somalia and whose father is a polygamist.. haha… and finally some white guy and some indian guy… both americans… man… the indian guy is seriously cute but shit, he has a girl voice….

oh yeah i did my city to surf run baby!!!!!!!!! i am a god!!!!!!!! 14km … with killer slopes.. wtf… i can’t believe i didn’t die… there’s was a 2km super slope called heartbreak hill… even some hardcore people had to stop and walk up… the slope was so bad, i cud touch my face on the floor… or maybe that was cuz i wanted to keel over and die… there was a sign that said “there are less painful ways to meet people”… but believe it or not, 70000 ppl participate in this run ever year… it was pretty cool.. the pubs along the city brought out their amps and blasted music… and there was a band dressed like led zepplin playing on the roof a bar.. and a bunch of old men playing swing music at a busstop too amongst some of the supporters…. some ppl walked.. including a bunch dressed like the teletubbies.. and there was this hardcore guy running in an apron… haha i ran to the pacific ocean… sounds cool eh? i wanna do it again =D

anyways the stupid library’s closing so i gtg… will blog reeeeaaaal soon so u guys better post some stuff too dammit… cheers!!

and it’s not so bad really. Already, I’ve The Reading list has started, and thankfully, being the uber nerd that I am (I think la hor), I’ve started on the list. I’m taking modules such as Comparative Press Systems, where there’s this really funny China lecture and he keeps shamelessly promoting his books for us to read, and Publication Design, where I learn how to do layout of publications such as newspapers and brochures. I got my French 3 successfully, so hopefully I won’t die too much from all the guttering french words.

(ok, thank you for reading up this point. you may fall asleep now if you feel like it.)

This sem, I’ll be busy with the school paper. I’ve already got 2 stories to cover and a few news ideas to scout for. So I’m pretty excited. :D I’m going to apply for exchange to University of Maryland, Washington for exchange, but if I don’t get it, it’s no biggie. I’ve still got a chance to go overseas when I’m doing my internship for school. So I’m pretty chill about it.

Ok, so to answer dearest sharan, i think me and mr j are kind of official. haha. i shan’t bother you guys too much about the details, but basically, i’m happy when i’m with him. but marooned5 will always be in my heart k. DONT FRET. HEH.

speaking of Marooned5. may i meet up with those who are still stuck in singapore PREASE. i really want to see you guys. come hang out at my hall soon pleaseeeeee.

oh, on a sidenote, come to my hall play (pretty) please? it’s on 15th Aug, at 7pm. PLEASE PLEASE, i need to sell like 13 tickets and i’ve sold NONE. can you imagine? ): haha. please please, i’ll owe you guys one.

okay i’ve really nth to report except that i had a weird dream of u guys… we were in a hostel and i was washing my clothes in parasitic muddy water apparently.. azza was being all normal and eating ayam curry or smth… xin and sam were washing their arms and singing a song tt went smth like “oh we’re washing our arms the taps are working we’re washing our arms the taps are working”… huiting was playing with a golden haired puppy and saying she wanted its hair colour to do her highlights… and erm.. ligana was a totem pole…

so wadeya think it all meant?

HEY GUYS.

sorry for being MIA for so long, i’ve been busy with work and school. to SHARAN, thank you for fulfilling your promise to blog from the airport! :):):)

so now i’ve got things to update you guys about! okay, firstly, SCHOOL IS STARTING ONE WEEK FOR ME. AUGH. i’ve collected my hall keys, so please visit me in hall during the first week of school (starting 4th aug) WHEN ALL OF YOU ARE STILL FREE AND WANDERING SPIRITS. actually hor, i’m quite excited about school la, because i’m still writing for the school newspaper, and i’ll be taking journalism modules. should be quite fun la hor. je suis tres EGGGCITED. hahaha.

ok then now for the CAMBODIA TRIP. sihanoukville was pretty, in all its beachy glory. (haha, did i just type out BEACHY GLORY?!) we taught english, maths and science in the slum schools and the main centre for street children, who do not get the chance to have formal education because they work for their parents to make ends meet. i still miss them terribly so, even now, i have this sudden urge to buy a plane ticket, fly back there, and teach them for the rest of my life. yes, i’m being an emo nemo i know, so i shall stop it.

(btw xxxxxin, i laughed pretty loudly at the mosque when sharan told me about the stick up your ass story, that the caretaker chased me away to one secluded corner.)

OKAY, MOVING ON. i’ve also just finished work last week, so i’m technically a free person. but aiya, i like to chillax at home after so many days of not hanging out at home. so if anything, you guys just sms me and come my house la hor. i’m a lazy bum bum laaa. somemore next week i’ll officially move into hall also, so i want to spend as much time at home as possible. and can raid my fridge also, i’ll ensure that the fridge is well stocked if you guys come over. if you come over, CAN SEE PHOTOS OF CAMBODIA ALSO. i lazy to upload. pai seh ah.

true to my promise to liyana that i would blog in the airport to kick off the new semester of langalorry thereby reviving our poor little neglected site, here’s my post:

i’m not soundng very coherent cuz i haven’t slept frm our woodlands hangout and subsequent frantic packing… and i’m screwed anyways cuz i forgot to bring the charger for the new phone.. NAH BEH..

another NAH BEH thing… MY FRIGGIN FLIGHT WAS DELAYED… and by THREE WHOLE HOURS.. that could have been equated to a night of packing with specific inclusion of a certain phone charger tt is to spell out my impending doom and perhaps a nice bfast with all of us in attendence….

but anyways there’s always next year… in the meantime take care ya’ll… liyana good luck with johari-i-am-tight-with-mr-jamil… azza pls stay away from anything tako yaki for a while and gd luck with dating/imitating joker.. sam sorry abt the hard drive , u can come pick it up frm my hse tho i can tell my mom but anyway my peace offering shall be renato’s music collection haha… ting ting! stay alive and enjoy u’re week long “slavery” and give my regards to all the lucky gic ppl who’ll now have a new way of identifyng the days of the week based on u’re outfits (man i can’t believe i won’t see the love of my life for one year, NAH BEH AND U”RE BUTT HAS NO UNDERWEAR)… and XXXXXxxXxXxxXxIIIIINNNN!!!!!!! don’t stuff any more sticks up u’re ass!!! at least not while i’m not there cuz i wanna be there to celebrate such oh so special moments.. gd luck for rag too…

i finished my yucky exams and i was so traumatised for law but hopefully i can overall pass…

ANYWAY, laos laos is in the midst of planning.. (must give the credit to Xxxin’s fantabulous research skills) actually we just need to do the final bookings.. so xXxxXin i’m all ready i just wanna give u one final call… please contact me about this…

once we’re done with the booking i guess we can send out a final itinerary so that u noe wat to pack (not that we have such an extensive sex and the city wardrobe).. and probably we can give u a ballpark figure about how much to bring and who owes who what…

some favours though.. can sam pls pls do that whole mosquito patch thing again? and can someone get the mosquito spray as well.. i met a laos lover and he said its pretty impt.. also can someone be a walking pharmacy for us please? this wud probably be XXxXx.. i’m so sorry for cleaning out u’re inventory in new york.. we’d prob also need to bring some food too considering we gonna be doing quite a lotta bus rides.. but once we’re in our comfy accoms i am gonna fiercely campaign for french-lao food EVERYDAY..

anyways for anyone who cares, i’ll be coming back on the 30th.. i just got an email that my new passport was completed so now i can safely say that i can leave the country.. i wanna get u guys stuff.. any requests? u want some special toffee nut tim tams? or black pepper and lime chips? omg all i can think abt is food.. and someone is eating some curry stuff and i can smell it….. ooooooooh…

ok i onli have 15mins to write this so ill make this fast. damn cheepomak onli want to pay 100yen for 15mins of internet usage.

met wif fruits frens from waseda uni for the weekend. met at harajuku station and from there shopped a lil bit, looked around, and ate crepes [which harajuku is famous for]. then head off to the johnnys official shop. its not easy to enter the shop, theres like rules and protocols. first u have to get a ticket that specifies at wat time u can start queueing, then they bring u in batches through this seedy looking alleyway and to this small nondescript but horrendously pink shop. its so small u practically have to go around in a line. all their photos will be posted on the walls so all u do is write down the numbers u wan and then queue again to pay and receive them. Fruits bought like 10. i didnt bother cos seriously, its kinda creepy.

then head off to shibuya with the crazy human crossing, took a detour to hmv just to get an uchiwa cos the weather was hot. then off to shinjjuku where there were more host clubs wif hosts wearing pointy shoes touting in the streets.

then on sunday went to akihabara and ate lunch at a maid cafe. for 25ooyen the maids will blow and feed u ur food. lol.

shit. my time is up.

HAHA. this is NOT cheepmak blogging, even though i fooled you guys by adding the jap title. i’m THAT good. ok so it’s 2 days more till i’m at silhanoukville, cambodia. hope everything goes well over there, and i’m hoping it’ll be a life changing experience.

wished i could have travelled with you guys to laos and BANGKOK though. would have loved to see the untamed natural beauty of LAOS. bangkok, well, SHOPPING. DUH.

dearest cheepomake, please do blog more about your happy jappy adventures! though i would suggest you give people like me, the blur ones who dont know their takoyakis from sashimis, a little TEENY WEENY explanation about the things that you’re describing to us. like what’s their significance, why is it there, and why is it called such and such. well, a vending machine IS a vending machine. so you dont really need to explain the vending machine. HEH.

i’ll try to blog once in a while at snooky, at some random internet cafe. to tell you guys that i’m still alive, or at least a person pretending to be me is still alive.
